Educational Toys | Hottest Toys Revealed By Toys R Us

Toys R Us is set to reveal its holiday hot toy list today that will include a wide variety of toys in an effort to hit seasonal sales targets.

This season’s hot toy list will feature 36 new items from pencil-toppers called “Squinkies, “Disney Princess & Me” dolls to educational toys like “Leapster Explorer.”

As another part of the effort to help boost this year’s bottom line, the toy retailer is expected to offer more exclusives and open 600 temporary stores.

That is more than six times the number of stores the toy retailer opened last year.

I have seen parents use these 'educational media' as electronic babysitters, no doubt about it but there are educational toys out there, also interactive toys (which is more to the point), for older kids (also a point = baby einstein – as someone pointed out, baby is an adjective here), which may provide them with knowledge not easily accessible in their schools. For example, my kids are bilingual, and in kindergarten…. I want them to retain their french language so their grandparents have sent DVDs which help with letters, reading and are in French for their aural comprehension. At the most my kids manage about 20 minutes once a week but they are 'learning' things. Moreover, these DVDs require me to be present and to be with them = no more babysitting. So sometimes I think we should not necessarily blame the tools but perhaps the master/purchaser of them and their intentions for their use?

1. yes cuz and if you say no yo haven't been to Russia in a long time.
2.I believe in would be better because Russians they are all about having everything grand and in top style.
3. you would have less freedom of speech, other then that yes.
4.Russian population is more educated then the American, the system would require of you to work really hard. They cover the same stuff as here but two or three years faster. The educational system there is really intense, so you would have to do your h/w every day or get kicked out but usually Russians do their h/w and they know the value of education.
5.in Russia you can expect to be anything, the future is vast and the opportunities are endless.

You can plant bushes or trees along the wall on the inside so she cannot reach it to climb. We plant cacti (I live in Phx) and my dog doesn't really go near it, otherwise he escapes every other situation, including standing on his legs and opening door handles :)
