Thanks 4trogan, I wrote a post incorporating the remarks of the idiot. He refers to “eugenics”, as though direct instruction were somehow a racist philosophy! It's teaching methodologies which never give the fundamental skills which create racial gaps in education. Rich kids get their basic phonics skills at home through educational toys their parents buy, poor kids don't. Poor kids thus never get the basics, while rich kids are able to make better use of what IS offered.

i think the esteem comes from having a sophisticated toy that does cool stuff. not much different from some of the reasons we sell snazy phones.

you would never guess, based on the range of other electronics they make, but vtech makes really simple yet amazing educational toys. my kids have used a few over the years.

i heard that at one point the ceo's son was the main tester, but the kid's got to be too old for most of that stuff.

It sounds like fun, but don't stress out too much on how to set it up because in the end the dress up will be in the grocery store, the dolls in the construction site and the microphone lost the the book nook.

I suggest love dice or maybe a sex boardgame or even a sexy secret santa outfit. But if you want to give her a toy a massage vibrator, it's not really about the size but on how much and how hard it could vibrate. Brands that are mainly and mostly recommended and popular are: Touch, Conair Massage
