At this age, boys like just about anything.

Walk into a toy store. Go into an isle that is NOT frilly and pink. Grab any item on the shelf. 9 times out of 10 a 6-year-old boy will want it. Bonus points are given for triggers, flashing lights, and sound effects.

Extra bonus points are given if use can result in bodily injury.

When I was a baby/toddler I remember playing with dolls/stuffed animals. Most of them had stitched eyes and not the plastic ones you find on most dolls today.
I had a bunny, baby doll, stuffed dogs etc.

As a baby/toddler I also loved to hear little stories. I had a large book collection.

When my cousin was 1 year old he had some sesame street stacking cups, books, little stuffed toys.

Hope this helps a little. Don't worry, when they're two it will be so much easier to buy presents.

Lady you have a big job ahead of you, but it sounds like you're doing the right thing by having separate stations for them to entertain themselves. My only comment would be, don't set anything up in your areas of doing things, like the kitchen or your bedroom. The kitchen you need for food and other types of preparations, and the bedroom you need to make more babies. Did you think it was going to be easy with six, try seven or eight, you're on roll. LMAO

Jenn,
I love your blog! I am particulaly interested now that I have a child on the way myself, lol. I am so with you on the mommy groups. I just want to try to maintain the friends I have because thay are my friends for a reason. The last thing I need is to have somebody shocked that I do not have my (still in utero) child signed up for some education thingy yet or that we don't have the RIGHT type of educational toys or whatever. It is refreshing to hear your point of view.

1. yes cuz and if you say no yo haven't been to Russia in a long time.
2.I believe in would be better because Russians they are all about having everything grand and in top style.
3. you would have less freedom of speech, other then that yes.
4.Russian population is more educated then the American, the system would require of you to work really hard. They cover the same stuff as here but two or three years faster. The educational system there is really intense, so you would have to do your h/w every day or get kicked out but usually Russians do their h/w and they know the value of education.
5.in Russia you can expect to be anything, the future is vast and the opportunities are endless.

What type of cold war era question is this?

Really?

I would respond with an essay of welcome to over fifteen years later and express Russian economic growth laced with the widespread use of technology in the civilized world. Sure, they have political problems, but they aren't living in huts for shiits sake. It depends on what area of Russia they are in. If you are sitting in Chechnya (sp wrong I know), you are more concerned with safety and aren't bopping to an Ipod. But, if you are in Moscow or St. Petersburg, your life would probably be radically different.

It is the same as people in the US and how they allocate funds based on their socioeconomic status, just in a different political environment and scale.

Who cares if you fail the assignment, write a well developed essay to retort a dumb assignment. Maybe then your teacher will deep down and create real assignments.
