Educational Toys | Unique Toys, Gifts And Novelties At Kids Fair
THE colourful toys and novelties belonging to Spiele & Schenken Sdn Bhd attracted the attention of many passers-by who were attending a balloting session held ahead of The Star Kids Fair 2010.
The session was held at Menara Star recently for exhibitors to select their preferred booth locations at the fair that will be held on Nov 27 and 28 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (Halls 1, 2 and 3).
The exhibitors were also briefed on general information on the fair, such as procedures on setting up and dismantling booths, booth design plans, accessibility to the venue and loading timetables.
Spiele & Schenken, an importer of gifts, novelties and toys, will be among the exhibitors at The Star Kids Fair 2010.
Spiele & Schenken manager Pattrine Hong said the company started with the distribution of wooden educational toys to local kindergartens and pre-schools.
“We later expanded our business to cover the retail market and in 2004, our own in-house brand “Tootle Tee” – a range of gift items, stationery, musical instruments and games – was created,” she said.
In addition to Tootle Tee, Hong said Spiele & Schenken offers the Brickadoo, Laserpegs and Iwako brands for children.
Brickadoo, which was created in the Netherlands, is a building toy kit that comes with bricks and water-soluble cement, while
Iwako features a range of fancy erasers from Japan in shapes like food items, animals, vehicles and household equipment.
Touted as the world’s only lighted construction set, one can use the Laserpegs toys to create any abstract model or combine kits and power units to build a gigantic model.
Hong assured that all of Spiele & Schenken’s products for children has the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry’s MC (mark of conformity) approval for toys.
“We will be offering a 50% discount on all Tootle Tee, Brickadoo and Laserpegs products at the fair, while the Iwako erasers will be sold at an introductory price,” she said.

1. yes cuz and if you say no yo haven't been to Russia in a long time.
2.I believe in would be better because Russians they are all about having everything grand and in top style.
3. you would have less freedom of speech, other then that yes.
4.Russian population is more educated then the American, the system would require of you to work really hard. They cover the same stuff as here but two or three years faster. The educational system there is really intense, so you would have to do your h/w every day or get kicked out but usually Russians do their h/w and they know the value of education.
5.in Russia you can expect to be anything, the future is vast and the opportunities are endless.
