My son is 8 and he has a very difficult time reading. He is in a resource room and gets extra help but he is still struggling. The problem is he is going into third grade with a middle first grade reading level and now he is starting to have problems in other areas as well. Help is very limited due to budget cuts and I can't afford to get private help at this point. I have talked to the school and they keep telling me to work at home with him. I know my son needs more than what I can offer and no one will listen or help. What happened to the education system???
