Corset Tops – Should I Wear A Corset Top, Basque Or A Bustier With My Jeans?

The design of the bustier resembles the corset, although its design makes it less restrictive. The garment extends from the bosom to the waistline, and is lightly boned. A bustier has two primary features, the first function to offer support for the breasts, making the wearer more comfortable and creating cleavage, the second feature to shape the waistline slightly.
The fuller version of a bustier is known as a basque, the basque extends down to the hips, smoothing the body from the bosom to the hips. This garment is also not as restrictive as a true corset, but it is more limiting than a bustier. However, wearing a basque ensures that the entire waistline is smoothed, which is prefered by some women.
So when do you wear a basque or corset top, and when do you wear a bustier? The huge range of corset tops entering onto the market are transforming what women wear and when. We now have corset tops that can be worn for clubwear, social nights out such as pubs or dinner parties, formal occasions even corsets tops for shopping.
The corset top teamed with jeans is suitable for upmarket casual events like going out to a restaurant, seeing a film, smart-casual dinner or cocktail parties and evening functions. The tummy should be completely beneath the waistband and unless your legs are thin, do not let the jeans grip onto your flesh tightly, you do not want anything bulging out.
Most ladies wear bustier’s to be comfortable, where as corset tops usually take a bit of work to put on and when worn for a long time can be uncomfortable. The key to when you wear a corset top in place of a bustier is simply dictated by how long it will be worn for, and the type of the engagement you will be attending.

I usually like your outfits but this one isn't striking me. It's a bit too much and the flair of it all overpowers the otherwise and overall pleasing shape it does manage to achieve.
I'd like to see the corset top paired with a long, super dark jean or other dress pant which balances the frill with seriousness. Not so sure i'd keep the shrug top though with it. Can we see the skirt with something else?

I dont think its really necessary at this point of time.
But really I would accept one if the design makes something out of box not like the same routine review….Just add something to spice up…..not free gifts …but surely something useful for next purchaser..

Jewaira, I'm sorry this story was reported in a way that makes sexy lingerie something that is oppressive for women. Women love to be playful and wear sexy lingerie as much as men love it. I'm glad the Muslim Internet sex shop is opening. I agree with you that I don't understand why a “Muslim” sex shop is needed when women of all faiths can buy from lots of stores on the Internet, but if a “Muslim” sex shop will help to liberate Muslim women (and men), then I am all for it.
