Hit bY An Uninsured Driver?
What happens if I’m hit by an uninsured motorist? What you need to know if this happens to you:
It is a popular misconception that people hurt in an accident involving an uninsured driver are unable to claim for personal injury compensation. This is a myth, there is still a way to claim, it may be slightly more complicated but there is a scheme in place to help.
The Motor Insurance Bureau or MIB , are an organisation that is set up specifically to help provide compensation to people who have been hurt by an uninsured or untraceable driver. The MIB are there to provide compensation to innocent parties who have suffered personal injuries due to the other party’s negligence. They now also deal with small property damage claims too.
If you are a child or minor who wants to make a claim against an untraceable driver for a hit and run incident for example then the MIB now allow you to claim up until your 21st birthday, unlike the usual three year cut off for claims.
The MIB conduct two different schemes known as Untraced Drivers Agreement and Uninsured Drivers Agreement , it is important to always get advice from a trained personal injury lawyer regarding your claim as MIB claims can be complicated. Depending on which category your claim belongs to your solicitor will then move forward in accordance, gathering any evidence required.
Certain insurance companies will provide help in tracing the other motorist but if they are not insured you will still need to go through the MIB.
The MIB has certain rules and procedures that must be followed in order to make a valid claim. Generally speaking anybody is able to make a claim through the MIB but a specialist solicitor is essential to help explain all of the steps involved.

I am a victim of the sexual offence of procuring women by false pretenses. It seems like the ONLY time when this offence gets to court is when it is tagged along with other offences, like blackmailing, procuring money by deception and making death threats in the case of Jheeta, or when it is a counter-allegation used in defence: this happened to people I know.
I want to start a prosecution on its own because I am a sexually vioated woman and I am having very serious trouble with initiating legal proceedings, because I am expected to pay all the fees in a private prosecution. That costs .. how much a whole house costs, and I am only in my mid-twenties. The legal scholars Professor Peter Alldridge, Jonathan Herring, Joel Feinberg, David Archard and Emily Sherwin have explained why procuring women by false pretenses. It has been illegal since 124 years ago!
I was told 350 shocking lies in a few months. The lies were ridiculously elaborate and detailed. The same person lied to over 30 other people (I have proof of this, in documents) and also targed other attractive young women with the same set of deceit. A qualified lawyer from the firm BCL Burton Copeland says I have a case, but will not prosecute for me without any money.
This is surely killing the point of justice.

I have also talked to Right Honourable Fabian Hamilton, Lord Nazir Ahmed and Baroness Flather about it.
