Sure if you have connections you can get by without the circuit, in fact I did just that to get into college, but it is the exception not the rule. – by Newrm
I do not think it is the exception, at all, as I think, in terms of shear volume, and like it was for you, this is still THE WAY in which the vast majority of actual “scholarship” players first make contact with the school they eventually attend.
IMO, getting on “the circuit” of exposure events is a waste of time for most of the mid-lower level players who are searching for a scholarship offer.]]>
