What Exactly Is A Psychic?
A psychic can be defined as a person who has the abilities to perceive and gather information about objects that are not visible. A psychic can perceive information about objects, events, and situations that are hidden from the five basic human senses. He uses the ESP powers to gather this information.
The psychics have always existed in fiction and they have often been assigned important roles. They have become important characters and catalysts that make the story move ahead. Some of the well-known and contemporary psychics include Miss Cleo, John Edward, Danielle Egnew, and Sylvia Browne.
The critics do not believe in the existence of paranormal powers that the psychics claim to exist. The critics attribute such powers to intentional trickery or self-delusion.
A study conducted about psychic abilities came out with a report that said that there is no ‘scientific justification from research conducted over a period of 130 years for the existence of parapsychological phenomena.’
The word psychic is originally a Greek word ‘psychikos’ and it means ‘metal’ or ‘of the mind.’ At some later stages, the word was also introduced to the English language. It was in 1870s when Edward William Cox introduced psychics to the English language.
There have been many claims made about the existence of psychic abilities. Some people believe it does not exist as there is no documentary proof and that it should be discouraged. On the other hand, there are people who believe in the psychic abilities of people, irrespective of the fact that there are not many proofs available to support their claims.
The U.S. federal government has funded the research for remote viewing for its application to the intelligence community. The research conducted established the presence of psychic abilities but scientists in other fields refused to accept its presence, saying that the proofs were not enough for acceptance.
But today, many people have created their careers and professions from the psychic abilities and paranormal powers. There are remote viewers who can perceive and gather information about distant targets. The distant targets can be objects, events, situations, and locations and they can be located in anywhere in time and space.
Clairvoyance has often been associated with remote viewing but it is different from remote viewing. A clairvoyant uses his ESP power to get a clear vision about objects and events.

I'm only interested in that one if Crawley win, which I'm assuming they won't, which means I probably won't watch it unless I develop psychic powers. The potential for giant killings so rarely pans out.

Meh. I have mixed feelings about this.
On one hand, I like the idea of 5 terminators taking on a huge amount of enemies… and 2 wounds (with allocation, of course) and FNP would give them the edge they need to do that (as well as their other, S5 boltguns, power weapons, all the goods)
However, I don't like them overpowering regular terminators that much. It's sooo far beyond Space Marine terminators in terms of strength and durability that you would be hard pressed to see regular Terminators as the great, unstoppable warriors they are supposed to be (not that the GKterms aren't better, I agree they should be tabletop wise and fluff, but they shouldn't outshine them THAT much)
I think they should be better than regular terminators in terms of weaponskill, perhaps initiative, and psychic powers, etc etc… plus maybe greater weapons and the like, but I think the key should be TACTICAL options for them to be used more effectively. One time use abilities… psychic powers that dramatically boost speed, strength, whatever… heroic intervention perhaps… etc, etc.
That would improve them hugely and not make the regular marine terminators look like second rate foot soldiers..
Your thoughts?

Don't take physics seriously.
They are not real. They only operate for entertainment purposes only just like grandma used to do when she read the tea leaf in to bottom of your empty tea cup.
Call screeners probably do not make much above minimum wage just like in any other low skill job.

For those who are ready, no explanation is necessary and for those who are not, no explanation is possible!
You can use this four minute video as a brief meditation on the tarot that, repeatedly viewed, will help you learn how to read tarot cards psychically. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/tarotvision.html

Richard Wiseman, the fabulously funny and enlightening skeptical psychologist, has written a book called Paranormality which is a fabulously funny and enlightening dissection of paranormal claims; I got an advance copy because I’m special and I recommend it highly, and so do Skepchicks. However, something strange happened. Wiseman is British, and he published in the UK, but when he tried to get it picked up in the US, publishers balked. The book has done well in the UK and has been bought by publishers in lots of other countries. However, the major American publishers were reluctant to support a skeptical book, with some suggesting that I re-write it to suggest that ghosts were real and psychic powers actually existed! We didn’t get any serious offers and so it looked like the American public (around 75% of whom believe in the paranormal) wouldn’t get the opportunity to read about skepticism. Bizarre. It’s a self-perpetuating cycle, isn’t it? Since so many of us are gullible cretins,…

Given that there is no established body of knowledge about these subjects, you will be hard-pressed to obtain an answer. It just pretty much depends upon whom you ask.
