There's really no way to “take them back”, because they are voting based on their economic self-interests. Democratic policy is to provide them with jobs and subsidies, through an extensive pro-feminist economic/legal structure.
Their cultural paradigm of support for sexual liberation (i.e. female sluttishness) is backed by an economic platform of financial aid for single mothers, as well as a political platform of legalized abortion, and a legal platform of forced child support from unwilling fathers. Not to mention the legal platform of support for rape and domestic violence accusers, and the corporate/educational policies of support for sexual harrassment accusations.
A young woman who wears an Obama shirt is simply signaling her membership on the winning side of the culture war.

Yes,
If they are renting and don't want to pay I would have them evicted immediately. If she wants to live free I would send her packing to a shelter(condo). I would tell her they feed you too.

California does not recognize common law. Even in the states that do merely living w. someone is not enough. One is that the couple has to be known in the community as husband and wife…….. and publicly identify themselves as such. There are many other things but it comes down to THEY having to say they are married…… you can't do it. Plus the minimum of years is usually 5 years together.
How long ago was this scam and what was the nature of it? Maybe you can still do something as far as criminal charge. She can go to school forever but just being charged w. something would mess up her future employment…… for many many years. And it could mess up her student loans. Was this scam in anyway real estate related?
Yes she is pretty much judgement proof…… NOW. I would of course speak to an attorney but he might take your $2000 or whatnot and get nowhere. But possibly you could get him to get the debt registered in regard to her credit report. Check yourself…… in my state judgements go on credit reports.
She is going to school and will eventually get a job of which you can garnish her wages….. even years from now. So she has a big rock on her finger so eventually she will get married.
As they say (pardon my cliche) revenge is best served cold. I would poke around but if nothing panned out I would leave it alone…….. letting her think you gave up. Later you can go to it especially when she gets married.
