Jocelyn,
There is a short supplemental form that includes the International Financial Certification that all non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents must complete. Other than that, the only additional information is the International Financial Aid Application, if needed (only required if you're applying for financial aid). You can find everything you need at http://admissions.richmond.edu/application/international-requirements.html.

I frequently hear radio ads for “Northwood University” here in Michigan, which touts its curriculum's Free Enterprise philosophy. You know I had to check out its web site. The Mission Statement lists Core Values of an “entrepreneurial, free-enterprise society” and “individual freedom and individual responsibility”. Its Financial Aid page says that “Applying for financial aid is a primary step in funding your college education.” It lists a full range of ways its students can get an education at the taxpayers' expense. This doesn't seem consisten with the ideals of free enterprise and individual responsibility, but what do I know?
I'm also recalling the recent report that the average graduation rate at for-profit universities is a mere 22 percent.

yep it screws up ur finacial aid BUT… you should talk to your finacial aid counselor because if you are under 24 years old it is really hard to file independent on FASFA forms…
in order to file independent you need to have a child or be married,… but again talk to your finacial aid advisor

I would state that you have not yet filed your fafsa application. You can use the EFC calculator online to estimate what your EFC will be and you could put that code down. Just be sure to write that this was given by the EFC calculator.

I would try and figure out this one out through USCIS in order to determine what hoops you need to jump through in order to be an eligible noncitized who qualifies for financial aid. FAFSA will probably be able to steer you in the right direction also. Maybe an immigration attorney could be helpful. This is an immigration issue actually, not a financial aid one and probably more complicated problem than anyone here on Y!A financial aid can help you with unless you get a response from an actual fin aid advisor (I think there is one that post here, could try again in the day time hours) I agree with you, no sense suffering through the stress of the MCAT if you wont be able to go to med school without assistance
